The trip began with a visit to Dharamsala, India where I lived for most of my SIT Tibetan Studies Program two years ago and ends in Hokkaido, Japan protesting the G8 with friends. Though I spent most of my mandatory school years in the Bay Area of California, I favor the Northwest and tried to plan my trip such that the climate will be similar. For the remainder of 2008, I lived in Beijing, China working as a teacher and copyeditor.
